Press release: Mythoria reaches version 1.0

Tampere, Finland (February 2nd, 2010) – Random Star Games is pleased to announce that their first title, Mythoria, has reached its version 1.0 release, officially ending its beta phase. Among content additions, Mythoria now features an online game lobby available to all players.
"It's exciting to see how big an effect the online lobby will have on Mythoria," said Random Star Games' game designer and programmer, Olli Alatalo. "In a game like this playing against human opponents is half the fun. We are expecting a player community to start emerging anytime soon."
About Mythoria
Mythoria is a strategical fantasy card game for PC in which two players battle each other by summoning fantastical creatures and casting fierce spells. The game features a single-player campaign along with a quickplay mode and multiplayer capabilities including an online lobby.
The goal in Mythoria is to conquer the game board by summoning seven creatures onto the board's seven slots. It is easy to learn, yet difficult to master. The game's round visual design and innovative gameplay mechanics make it stand out among other fantasy card games.

Tampere, Finland (December 11th, 2009) – Random Star Games is pleased to announce that their first title, Mythoria, will be completed in January 2010. It has been on public beta since September 19th 2009.
Mythoria is a strategical fantasy card game for PC in which two players battle each other by summoning fantastical creatures and casting fierce spells. The game features a single-player campaign along with a quickplay mode and multiplayer capabilities that will also include an online lobby in January 2010. All of the 64 card illustrations have been carefully painted by Random Star Games' in-house artist Juha-Matti Pulkkinen.
The goal in Mythoria is to conquer the game board by summoning seven creatures onto the board's seven slots. It is easy to learn, yet difficult to master. The game's round visual design and innovative gameplay mechanics make it stand out among other fantasy card games.
"Mythoria is based on a game prototype we created back in 2003," said Juha-Matti Pulkkinen, the founder of Random Star Games. "We decided to revisit this old game concept now that we have more education and game industry experience behind us. We made a lot of design changes and the end result is a compelling experience."
Mythoria is currently on December sale, having a reduced price of 9.99€ (equals $14.71 at the moment). The offer lasts until the end of 2009.
